| Soul Eater's an online Japanese show. I marvel at the Japanese voices. They fit so perfectly. But the English dub people...

They totally ruined Kid's voice.
And Black Star's.
And Shinigami's.
UGH, and I was so looking forward to hearing Kid. My ears still ring of ugly. CURSE YOU, ENGLISH DUB PEOPLE! They did a good job with Maka and Soul, but why not the rest? I hope they know how much fandom they are loosing here. My friend is going to kick a teacher once she finds out Kid's voice is ruined.

| I rofl'd at Shinigami's voice. I sort of fits him, in my opinion. I always imagined him a bit gayyyy.(sounding) I'd prefer if it was a bit lower, but it doesn't bother me too much.
FFFFFFF- I know you don't like Kid's voice but I sort of do~
His Japanese voice was a bit older than he was portrayed, and this voice actor makes him sound like Gerard Way to me, man.
And Black Star's voice fits perfectly. He's brash and annoying, so is his voice actor. | |

| I can understand the way your thinking.
But I always thought of Kid as a guy with a voice that kinda makes you think he's smart, so it's a rofl moment once you find out he has OCD. Because really, I bet he sounds really gay in English when he's serious. Cuz I know he is serious sometimes. I don't know bout English. I didn't bother watching past two seconds of episode 3.
I don't exacitally mind Shinigami's voice that much. The Japanese version of his voice was much more hilarious though.
Black Star's is just...
No.
Don't make me go there.
It sounds like Kid is going through puberty in English.
